Fluffy's New Cage Is Here!

At last! ♥

Finally I can sleep in peace tonight!

And I can leave her at home while I go to work without worrying about her constantly!

Was so worried at work and keep wondering if Fluffy's okay at home alone!

Plus so tired as I didn't sleep well!

This morning I had kept the fan on for her.

Pointed it towards my bed since she always prefers my bed over her box.

Rushed home after work and braced myself before opening my room door..

Fearing the worst. (Just in case, haha!)

And there she was.

Lying like a royal princess on my bed and right in front of the fan!

Haha, thank God that she's a smart bunny! ♥

(Didn't have the chance to snap a photo though! Haha!) 

Fortunately, I don't have to worry like anymore because I finally found a nice cage for her!

Yay!!

Zzz..

In the end, I couldn't sleep until it was around 3am..

Even though I was so tired! 

I guess I didn't feel secure about leaving Fluffy on her own..

So worried that she may hurt herself! 

Finally dozed off..

Still remembered that the last sight I saw was Fluffy sleeping just beside my pillow.

Woke up at 4am plus!

First thing I did was to search for Fluffy on my bed..

And she wasn't there!

Got up to switch on the lights..

Guess what?

Found her sitting by the window and looking outside.

Hmm.. I wonder what is she looking at?

She's so funny lah!

After I switched on the lights, she hopped back to my side and pretended to be sleepy!

Thought she was really sleepy..

But after I switched off the light, she went back to her initial place by the window again!

Hope I can still see her around in one piece later..

Yes, and alive! Haha!

So tired.. Heading back to sleep!

Yawnzzz.

Was asking Cnet for some advice on rabbit cages since he used to work at Pet Lovers' Centre.

He was so helpful that he actually called me instead.

And Sakura was beside him, asking and advising as well. Keke!

I guess all animal lovers are very enthusiastic when it comes to animals!

Left Fluffy at home and went to the petshop on my own.

Normally I'll be looking at the pets in the shop and think, "Aww.. So cute!"

But not today.

Because I have a super cute bunny and her name is Fluffy! ♥

Bought her a little ball which can be opened up to hide treats or hay inside.

Plus some alfalfa hay cubes as advised by Cnet!

Got a shock when I went home and didn't see Fluffy in her box! OMG!

Frantically searched for her on the floor but she was nowhere in sight!

Was so worried that she may be hurt or crushed somewhere!

After a while, she finally appeared out of nowhere.. On my bed!

Whoa, how did she get there?

Anyway I'm just glad that she's okay! Haha!

I think I spoiled Fluffy already. 

Unlike yesterday, she refused to sleep inside her temporary box!

Leaped from her box (on the floor) and onto my lap (I was sitting on my bed)!

Aww.. So sweet!

Let her roam and hop around my bed freely..

But suddenly she went all quiet.

Went to search for her and found her like this! Aww.. So cute!

I guess she'll be sleeping on my bed tonight! Haha!

Good Morning Little Love! ♥

Woke up and the first thing I did was to check on my new rabbit!

She was lying down in the temporary box, fully stretched. 

Reached out and stroked her gently.. She moved!

Thank God, she's alive! YAYY! ♥ 

*Slowly heaved a sigh of relief* 

Didn't realise that I was holding my breathe!

Okay, I'm just too overly paranoid.. Heehee!

(I think I understand how parents feel now..)

Carried her and she hopped out of my hands to land on my bed!

I think she loves my bed already!

She's so so so cute! Feeling so blessed! ♥

Until now, I still can't believe she's MINE. Wow! 

Thank you thank you thank you God!

I really must thank the lady who backed out on her words and gave Thumper to someone else.

Thumper is really cute (but he looks a little sad and eh..grumpy?)..

..But mine even cuter! And she is in the exact color I wanted! Wow!

(I actually had to consider Thumper for a while because I didn't exactly get the He-is-The-One feel.

But when I saw my rabbit's photo, I knew I wanted her!)

Rabbit has a name! And I shall let Steffi announce it.. 

Hello FLUFFY! ♥ 

Even at such a young age, Steffi is a lot more decisive and quick in decision making than me!

Her: Her name is Snowy!

Me: What? Anyway she's not white.. How can she be Snowy? 

Her: Then Fluffy!

Me: Why Fluffy?

Her: Because she's so fluffy! 

Me: Hmm.. Okay, Fluffy then!

She loves Fluffy already!

Despite being cut by Fluffy's (long) nails, she still carried her.

Caught her playing with Fluffy and saying to her, "Mummy loves you".. Aww~♥

Stacci likes Fluffy too but she's also scared of her.. Lol!

Oh well, Stacci's still young.. :)

The girls went back to their homes for lunch so it was just Fluffy and me again! 

Was packing my room and got a shocked when I didn't see Fluffy on my bed!

Panicked and searched frantically for a while before I finally caught sight of Fluffy..

Haha, how long has she been there, observing me??

Was super sleepy after lunch and dozed off after putting Fluffy back into her box.

When I woke up, she was still in her box.. Also sleeping! Haha!

I'm so looking forward to our lives together!

Like what I told Cookie when she just came to our house when she was only 2 months old..

 I shall repeat the same.. 

Someday.. Some years later, you will have to leave me.

And I will lament why time passed by so fast.. 

Even though it has been many years.

I will still love you then.. 

Probably more than how much I love you now.

I hope to cherish our time together while we can.

Parting will be sad when the time comes.. Inevitably. 

But before that moment comes, let's have loads of wonderful time together!

I love you, Fluffy! ♥

And I still love you, Cookie! ♥ 

More than when you first came into our house and our hearts.

Don't worry, having Fluffy won't make me love you any lesser!

Finding Rabbit

Well.. As usual, I was browsing through online advertisements AGAIN.. 

 Keywords for search: Holland lop adoption Singapore

Lost count of the times I'd done this.

Been disappointed for so many times until I wasn't even expecting anything.. :(

But then I SAW THIS!!

Wow wow wow!! Really??

I WANT!

Quickly msged the person, fearing that the rabbit has already been adopted..

She said someone has indicated interest..

Was kinda disappointed and thinking, "Not again.. SIGH."

And then she added that she will let me have the rabbit if I can confirm with her now! 

YESss!! ♥

Supposed to collect the rabbit from her on the following night (aka today).

(Felt so long!)

Before then, I kept wondering if there'll be any changes.

What if she changes her mind and gave it to someone else?

What if the rabbit is nothing like the photo in real life?

Went to the Pet Lover's Centre to buy some basic necessities for the rabbit.

Didn't dare to buy so much in case I don't get the rabbit in the end!

(Too traumatized after the previous incident!)

Our 1st Meeting

Finally it was time to fetch my rabbit!

On my way with an empty carrier..

(Sooooooo excited!!!)

By then, I still didn't know what was the gender of the rabbit.

But based on my past experiences of raising rabbits, I guess it was a girl!

Was I right? Heehee! Read on to find out!

Waiting waiting.. Will they really come??

THEY DID! Well, I was excited and happy.. 

But having pets myself, I understand that it's not easy to part with a pet (or pet's baby)..

And I kinda felt a tinge of sadness while the lady said goodbye to the rabbit.

At the moment, I felt I have another new reason to care for this little one.

If I were her, I would want the baby to go to a good home too!

And let's face the reality, we can't possibly keep all our pets' babies! :(

She's a very nice lady indeed!

Prepared some food to last for a couple of days just in case I haven't bought the food yet.

Also gave me a lot of advice and tips on caring for the rabbit!

Love At 1st Sight

At last! Hello Rabbit, nice to meet you! ♥

She's so cute.. I couldn't (actually, still can't) believe that she's mine!

But she also looked scared.. Makes me want to protect her even more.

And I will! :)

1st Challenge.. Not Allowed on the Bus! 

Previously checked online and someone said that Transit Link mentioned that pets are allowed on board. 

So SBS should be okay too right? 

NO.. Was asked to get down. 

Asked the lady via whatasapp and she said we need to be discreet.

Sigh. Why cannot? Even if pet is quiet (no sounds at all) and kept in a carrier at all times?

Hope to see improvements in this area.. (Elections coming eh? Take note please.. Haha!)

Finally reached home and it was time for.. 

1st Meeting between Cookie & Rabbit

Seriously I think Cookie thinks that's her baby.. Haha!

Cookie was overly excited until I didn't dare to let them get nearer..

Worried that the new rabbit would feel too stressed!

Put the rabbit in the temporary 'room' first.. 

So sorry, I will get you a nice cage soon!

Was so relieved when the rabbit finally started eating! Phew!

Was glad to see that the rabbit was lying in this manner which symbolizes "I'm happy".

Belated Birthday Celebration for Shuqi

Finally met up with my dearest Animal Buddies again after so long!!

Had dinner at Morganfield's (Suntec)!

Nice ambience (with delightful aroma that made us hungrier than we already were!)

At last.. Food was served!!

Best pork ribs that I've ever eaten! 

Meat was so tender and the bones were so easily separated from the meat.. 

We didn't even have to cut, we merely pulled out the bones.. Splendid!

A nice dream

Well, I finally dreamed of him. A little. But it was kinda vague so I don't think it's a visitation dream.
But it does make me feel better now. 

Can't remember the details. 

Only remember that I felt sad.

He was around somewhere but keeping his distance. 

Not complaining about that because my beloved Mocha darling was right before my eyes! 

In my dream, I was hugging her and stroking her constantly.

I miss you so much, sweet girl.. :')

Are you still waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge?

Somehow I got the feeling that he brought her here to comfort me because he knows I've been sad.

Maybe it's just my auto healing mechanism at work.
