A New Addition of ♥.. Soon!

Chanced upon this video last night! Aww..!

The lop is so cute!! Love it so much!

Suddenly I had a strong urge to check out the market rate for a lop.. And amazingly, I found this!

8 months old male mini holland lop for adoption

He is a foster rabbit. I have my own rabbit but Thumper is not keen to interact with her. However, Thumper is very social around humans & loves head pats. He has not yet been spayed & hates being carried. I love Thumper very much but my own rabbit could not get along with him & vice versa. Thumper will be a very good rabbit for families who loves to interact with him.

If you are interested to adopt Thumper, please email me & I will get right back to you soonest.

You can view Thumper if you'd like and also take note if you are adopting Thumper for a child, I will need to know if you are experienced enough to take care of a rabbit, make sure you & your child is prepared for the rabbit.

(Purposely leave out the contact details. He's mine, okay! Don't snatch with me hor! Haha!)

~~~
Being a pet owner myself (for almost 20 years) and having owned rabbits before (more than 10 years ago), I am not really keen in buying pets from petshops. Had checked with SPCA and other adoption places but to be honest, the procedures are too troublesome!
Hence when I came across this ad, I felt quite positive about it as the current owner obviously cares for her pets and she's not the sort who wants to make money from selling pets. :)
Had a good feeling about him but I wanted to check out the others before I (impulsively) made my decision. But I kept going back to find this ad, just to look at Thumper's picture again! He's so adorable!!
And he looks kinda grumpy in the photo.. (Or is it just me? Heh!) Which gives me the urge to shower him with more attention to make him happier. :)
Messaged the person today.. Didn't receive her reply and thought he had been adopted already. During noon, she called me! Felt a hint of hope until she mentioned, "Were you the one who asked me about him previously?" My heart sank a little, thinking that he has been 'reserved'..
Told her today was the first time I messaged and braced myself for the words: "Oh I'm so sorry. He's been adopted."
But then she said, "Yes, he's still available."
REALLY!? Yes!!
If only I can get him TODAY! But alas, I'm going overseas tomorrow morning! Told her that I am interested to get Thumper and will contact her when I am back.
So Thumper baby, wait for me please!!
~~~

Was asking myself repeatedly, is this an impulsive decision? The last thing I want is to get him and put him aside. It's a pet, not a thing!

Well, I always wanted a lop ever since I first saw one.. From my computer screen. However I had my own rabbit (local breed) already so I decided to wait. Afterwards, my rabbit walked out on me.. (Someone left the main door open..!! By the time I realised that, she was gone! Never managed to find her. =\) But I still had 2 dogs who were both in their prime (and VERY active) years.. Decided to focus on them instead of getting another rabbit.

And fast forward to the present.. Mocha had left us. (I still miss you, my sweet darling girl!) Cookie is already 17.5 years which is VERY old for a dog. And as much as I hate to admit it, she don't have much time left. Also, she has been sleeping a lot during the recent years so she don't demand that much attention from me anymore. (Sad! Miss having her following me around everywhere and constantly trying to catch my attention!)

So yes, I think I'm ready for a new pet now. And I guess, I really want my new pet to meet Cookie (while she's still here) and be aware of her existence. Haha, maybe that's a silly thought but I insist!

I still can't believe it: Thumper's gonna be mine! Wow!

Feeling so paranoid that he may be adopted by someone else when I get back from my trip!

~~~
Updated on 12 Jan 2015:
Just touched down in Singapore and I received the bad news that Thumper has been adopted by someone else!!! *Ultra sad!*
Was quite angry that the girl didn't keep her word to me. (And she didn't even have the decency to even message me a "Sorry" back!) Sigh. Oh well. We are not fated, I guess. And I believe Karma will do the job. :)
Anyway! In that case, I can take my time to tidy up my room.. So that I can be ready next time!
Updated on 13 Jan 2015:
Guess what? I saw this ad while searching for other rabbits online.
I guess she probably found someone who offered a higher price than me. (She didn't even ask if I'm willing to pay more! I wouldn't mind lor! Duh.)
Online Society.. So stressful now!
Started blogging and visiting online forums many years ago. Around 2008, I think?
Although I have been blogging, I do it mainly because:
1. I like to write.
2. I like to take photos.
3. I want to remember special moments.
Especially for #3, I always enjoy reading back what the former me had written. And laughed at how childish / silly I was. And then compare to see how much I've grown, how happier I've become and how much I've changed (for the better, I HOPE!).
And I can't remember details well. So blogging enables me to search back and retrieve the information in case I want to replenish a particular good product, eat that nice dish which I had tried previously and so on~
So what has blogging got to do with visiting forum? Well, I didn't think there was much relevance until the other day I went to sign up as a member in this particular forum and had a rather bad experience.
Haven't frequent any forum for a long time because none are as happening as Sgclub or Sodabeta during their glorious days.. (Oh, I miss the good old days so much!) But recently I registered in a forum as I was looking for information / feedback on this particular item that I was interested in. Was surprised why there was NOTHING at all and it's a pretty well-known brand. Weird. (Well, I later found out why!)
While searching fruitlessly, I saw a thread which asked us to share our Groupon deals experiences so I went in to share an ultra traumatizing first-hand incident of mine. Ended off my post with a recommendation for Carragheen. (Only a few sentences though!) Didn't see anything wrong with it since it was common for forum people to share both good and bad stuff. Well, back in the PAST. (Is that what a forum is used for??)
Not long after, a few girls started commenting on my post and suspected that I cooked up a fake story to promote for Carragheen.
HUH? WHAT??
What's wrong with the online society nowadays? Suddenly I felt so out of touch and I didn't feel like going to the forum anymore. Very turned off! Just joined the forum and I was treated like a suspicious character! So absurd!
And then I saw Xiaxue's post: The Big Gushcloud Exposé
Whoa, sorry to be so out of touch! Apparently many bloggers are earning money by writing reviews and doing advertisements in their blogs! (Used to think only famous bloggers like Xiaxue and gang earn money from their blogs!)
No wonder those girls were so aggressive when I shared my experience in the forum!
Never like to fight (Libras love harmony and dislike conflicts!) so I sure hope my blog don't offend anyone! I enjoy sharing good lobangs because others can have the same products / services that I've personally tried and found them to be good. And I don't want others to go through the same nasty experience I had so I like to warn everyone by blogging about it.
Well, I've signed up for Nuffnang since 2008 and up to this date, I've only earned $38.78 which is not even enough to be cashed out! So I hope that this fact is enough to assure everyone that:
1. I am not out to earn unethical money. (If I do, I will have far more than that!)
2. I have a stable job and I don't rely on my blog for income. (If I do, I would have starved by now..)
Of course it'd be nice to earn some money from my blog. It always enhances the sense of satisfaction when your interests are able to generate extra income for you. But oh well, even if I don't earn (which I don't, after all these years), I still enjoy blogging! And I hope whoever reads my blog will feel happy / entertained / inspired as well! :)
Especially with how rigid the online forums have become.. I think I shall just comment, share my experiences, recommend / feedback about products and services in MY OWN BLOG.
Like that cannot scold me liao right! Hahaha!
Okay, enough ranting so I'm just gonna let it go.. Let it go~~ *Sings*
Merry Christmas! ♥
I've been to the 49Seats at Kreta Ayer previously. The food and the service were really nice! Was expecting the smoked duck to be dry but surprisingly it was pretty juicy and tender! WOW!
Fun Fact: 49Seats has, well, 49 seats in their restaurant at Kreta Ayer!
(Not sure if it's the same for the branch at Orchard Central though! Heh!)
My previous review of them (49Seats at Kreta Ayer):
Disclaimer: Previously they had this lucky draw for publicity.. And yay, I won! I was not asked to write any reviews in return for the free movie tickets and the awesome meal for 2. I did it of my own accord. #GoodLobangsMustShare :)
When they opened another outlet at Orchard Central, I was so happy! (Kreta Ayer is really a bit inconvenient for me!) Needless to say, I chose to have my Christmas dinner at.. 49Seats at Orchard Central!! *Nom nom nom*
I must say their smoked duck pasta is absolutely the BEST I've ever eaten!
But alas, I couldn't try other food as most of the dishes were sold out already!
This place is pretty decent but personally I still prefer the outlet at Kreta Ayer. Probably because the staff there were more friendly. I guess feelings do affect our taste buds, to a certain extend! :)
Was so happy to be in Orchard Central because it was so beautiful decorated with PINK stuff!
LOVE IT!! (Couldn't resist adding a dreamy filter.. Heehee!)
Isn't it gorgeous?? So inspired to decorate my room like that too! (After I managed to clear up the clutter, of course!) Ahh.. Just the mere thought of it makes me so happy and blissful!
New Beginning ♥
I used to be a perfectionist. But I soon realised (painfully) that I'm not perfect. In fact, far from perfection. So I started to change my approach: To seek perfection. It's gonna take a lifetime and I prolly will still not succeed in the end. BUT! I believe I will enjoy the process. ;)
(Well.. It's been many years and I'm not sick of it yet. I love the current me! ♥)
My blog name is yibaifen which is the hanyu pinyin for 一百分. It means 100 marks, in other words, a perfect score.
Don't we all wanna be perfect to someone special?
Alritey, enough sharing for today.
Ending this entry with Rainie's song: 理想情人!
"..好想知道 你的一百分会给怎样的人.."  ♥
